Informations

One of the most important tasks of lifelong learning consists in nurturing intellectual activities such as reading and writing. Creating these habits among adults is also one of the best ways of keeping them socially active and culturally engaged.

The READCOM activities have been conceived for readers and writers of local communities who are willing to discuss the literature of other countries and to share their experience with other local European communities.

Thus, READCOM invites people to join its reading and writing clubs, where they will be invited to write, to read, and to talk about their own country in relation to other European cultures.

In the READCOM clubs in Poland, Austria and Portugal, you will learn, debate and share some elements of these countries’ history, culture, current political situation, food, customs.

Activity

READCOM offers you

• Reading clubs

• Creative workshops with books for adults

• Reading clubs for senior citizens to share books and stories with children

• Courses in foreign languages

• 25 hour course for reading club mentors which includes organization and

The READCOM clubs and workshops are mentored by professional writers, literature
teachers, librarians or language & culture teachers.
