The site of the U3A is in the Science Reading Room No XIX in Władysław Jan Grabski Public Library at Plutonu Torpedy 47 in Ursus. The lectures are held in „Kolorowa” Culture house at Sosnkowskiego 16 in Ursus.

INFORMATION AND ENROLMENT
In the circle called Senior Citizens and Pensioners’ Forum at Sosnkowskiego 16 on the first floor in the room No 132 every Thursday from 2 pm to 4 pm.

The University of the Third Age gives the possibility to make adults and senior citizens active. Its aim is to make those people join to the system of constant education, to maintain their intellectual, psychological and physical activation to the end of their lives.
The participants of the meetings have got many possibilities to spend their free time in an interesting way, to increase their knowledge and expand their interests. They can also make new friends and have new relationships with the others from our local society. The success of the U3A depends on the great amount of its members.


 

The University is planning to organize the meetings on:
- the psychology of the healthy style of life,,
- gerontology and geriatricy,
- the protection of the environment,
- the historyk of Poland and the World,
- European economy and integracy,
- local matters,
- learning of foreign languages,
- other problerms and ideas, suggested by the participants.

Within the framework of the University the participants can creat the Circles of Common Interests, Seminar Groups or Subject Circles. The constant activities are: exercise classes, rehabilitation and tourist trips.

The meetings are held every week or a few times a month, according to the programme of the semester. The detailed information and the rules of the enrolment can be obtained in the site of the U3A or during the meetings.

THE CONDITIONS OF THE PARTICIPATION OF THE U3A IN URSUS:
Filling in the declaration of the participation of the U3A. Paying the amount of 20 zł and the fee – 50 zł.
Bringing 1 photo to a membership card of the U3A.
